Extension Programs - History
This new service provides teachers with the opportunity to use extension programs at any time through the year. These extension programs provide challenging activities to keep your students engaged. We write the questions, put them online, mark them, provide feedback to students and then provide results for teachers to use in your assessment. All the work is done for you.
There are two activities. Teachers can select exactly when students use the program and students can access the program from home or school.
For a series of interesting history activities that will challenge your students while you are away on a camp or at professional development or to cover while teachers are ill, the Giant Classroom can provide the solution.
Each activity will take students approximately 3 hours.
Key Dates:
Teachers can register at any time and complete the activities before December 10.
Pricing Structure:
The cost per activity is $5.00 (NZ $6.00) per student plus a one off admin fee of $30 if you have not already registered for other Giant Classroom activities.
What next
1. Register yourself as a teacher or use your existing registration details.
2. Once registered you will have access to the teacher admin page. This lets you choose which programs you wish to register for and nominate how many students you would like to use the extension activities.
3. Produce and print the invoice and send a copy, along with payment, to The Giant Classroom address in your country.
4. When we receive your payment we will activate your account and you can register your students so that they can access the activities.
